The new sibling of Mack Granite model, Mack Granite Medium Heavy Duty, makes its World of Concrete debut this week. Fit for the event with volumetric concrete eight yard mixer body, it provides lower cost and lighter weight operation without sacrificing the company’s revolutionary reliability and durability. Mr. Curtis Dorwart, Vocational Marketing Product Manager at Mack Trucks stated, that they understand the decisions firms are facing economic environment of today, so for tasks which don’t need full muscle of Granite model, the Medium Heavy Duty offers great option. Its packages all driver amenities and rugged featured needed for jobsite in lighter spec.
Some of the key features on Mack Granite Medium Heavy Duty model include Mack cornerstone frame, eight cubic yard volumetric concrete body mixer and distinctive Mack sleeved D-shaped fuel tank. It is propelled by a Maxidyne engine with ClearTech SCR technology of the company, which is good for pumping out 405 horsepower. It also gets twin steer package along with 13 cubic yard concrete mixer body.
